SpaceX begins Starlink pre-registrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
SpaceX has begun accepting pre-registrations for its Starlink satellite internet service from users in Bosnia and Herzegovina. While the country was previously excluded from the service map, it is now marked as becoming available later this year.
Operational business in Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently pending regulatory approval. The company, registered locally as Starlink BH, submitted a license application in May. The Communications Regulatory Agency (RAK) is currently reviewing the request following a request for additional documentation.
Interested users can currently express interest on the SpaceX website by paying a nine-dollar deposit. Once approved, equipment can be ordered. Pricing tiers for the service include a basic 100 Mbps package for 55 USD, with higher-speed options priced at 85 USD and 135 USD.
