SpaceX reaches 100th Falcon 9 mission of 2026

SpaceX is reaching significant operational milestones in 2026 with its Falcon 9 rocket program. On August 22, the company successfully launched 27 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, marking the 99th Falcon 9 liftoff of the year and the 100th total Falcon mission of 2026.

Following this, SpaceX is scheduled to launch another 29 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This upcoming mission is set to be the 100th Falcon 9 flight of the year and will feature a record-breaking booster reuse. The first-stage booster, designated B1067, is slated to perform its 37th mission, setting a new record for the vehicle.

The company continues to expand its Starlink constellation, which currently consists of over 11,000 spacecraft. SpaceX’s high launch cadence is supported by its extensive rocket reuse program, which utilizes recovered first-stage boosters to reduce costs and increase mission frequency.
