SpaceX Crew-13 arrives at Kennedy Space Center for October launch

The four crew members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 mission arrived at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026. The crew is beginning final preparations and quarantine procedures ahead of their scheduled mission to the International Space Station.

The crew includes NASA Commander Jessica Watkins, NASA astronaut Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov. Following a Flight Readiness Review on Sept. 25, NASA, SpaceX, and international partners have given the mission a “go” for launch.

The mission is scheduled to lift off no earlier than 11:10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 1, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The crew will travel aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft launched on a Falcon 9 rocket. Research conducted during the mission will focus on experiments supporting long-duration spaceflight and NASA’s lunar return efforts.
