SpaceX launches 24 Starlink satellites from California

SpaceX successfully launched 24 Starlink broadband satellites into low Earth orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The mission followed a one-day delay caused by an engine abort during a previous attempt.

Following the ascent, the Falcon 9 first-stage booster completed a controlled descent, landing on the autonomous droneship ‘Of Course I Still Love You’ in the Pacific Ocean. This mission highlights the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its satellite megaconstellation, which provides global internet connectivity and supports services such as in-flight Wi-Fi and direct-to-cell capabilities.
