SpaceX launches 53 Starlink satellites from California and Florida
SpaceX conducted two Falcon 9 launches within 19 hours, deploying a total of 53 Starlink broadband satellites. The first mission lifted off on 3 June 2026 from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, carrying 24 satellites on booster B1088, which completed its 16th flight and landed on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship.
The second launch took place on 4 June 2026 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, carrying 29 satellites on booster B1090, its 12th flight, which landed on the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" droneship. The combined missions raised the number of active Starlink satellites to over 10,500, marking SpaceX's 63rd and 64th Falcon 9 launches of the year.
