SpaceX reports 161% revenue growth driven by AI and Starlink

SpaceX has reported third-quarter revenue of $14.6 billion, representing a 161% increase year-over-year. The company transitioned to a net income of $4.4 billion, reversing a $1.1 billion loss from the same period in 2025.

Growth was heavily driven by the company’s Super Intelligence (SI) segment, which focuses on artificial intelligence. AI-related revenue reached $7.6 billion, a massive increase from $813 million in the previous year. Connectivity revenue, primarily through the Starlink satellite network, also grew 69% to $5.25 billion, supported by 13.6 million global consumer broadband subscribers.

Traditional space launch services saw more modest growth, increasing 6% to $1.8 billion. Looking forward, SpaceX is expanding its footprint in the telecommunications sector, with plans to acquire 800 MHz of wireless spectrum to launch mobile connectivity services, a move expected to close in the first half of 2027.
