SpaceX representatives attend Ametic technology summit in Santander

Representatives linked to Elon Musk’s business circle made a discreet appearance at the Ametic technology summit held in Santander from August 31 to September 2. While the visit was low-profile and did not involve official speeches or major public announcements, it highlighted growing international interest in the Spanish technology market.

At least two individuals from SpaceX attended the event, which was organized by the technology employers' association Ametic. The summit included high-level Spanish government officials, such as the Minister of Digital Transformation and the Minister of Economy.

The presence of SpaceX personnel is notable as its subsidiary, Starlink, is currently processing applications with the Spanish government for permanent permits to operate satellite coverage across the national territory. The event also featured major industry players including Telefónica, Vodafone, and MasOrange, who compete in various connectivity segments.
