SpaceX scrubs SDA satellite launch from Vandenberg

SpaceX has scrubbed its planned launch of the Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 1 Transport Layer A (T1TL-A) mission. The Falcon 9 rocket was scheduled to lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, but the countdown was halted at approximately T−58 seconds.

The mission aims to deploy 21 satellites as part of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). This low-Earth-orbit mesh network is designed to provide resilient, low-latency military data transport, tactical communications, and missile warning capabilities.

SpaceX is currently targeting a rescheduled launch for October 8 or 9. This mission represents the fourth of nine planned Tranche 1 launches intended to build a distributed network of spacecraft to enhance military connectivity and sensing.
