SpaceX sets record with two Falcon 9 launches in 38 minutes

SpaceX established a new operational record on August 15 by launching two Falcon 9 rockets from opposite coasts of the United States just 38.5 minutes apart.

The first mission launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, carrying eight Globalstar replenishment satellites. The booster, B1090, successfully returned to Landing Zone 40 following its flight.

While the first mission was in progress, a second Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This second launch carried the USSF-366, a classified payload for the U.S. Space Force. This dual-coast operation highlights the company's increasing launch frequency and the maturity of its booster recovery procedures.
