SpaceXAI adds 1080p text‑to‑video and voice consistency to Grok Imagine

SpaceXAI (formerly xAI) has upgraded its Grok Imagine service with the new Imagine Video 1.5 model. The update introduces native 1080p video generation and a text‑to‑video capability that creates clips directly from a textual prompt, eliminating the need for an initial image. Users can now supply up to seven reference images to preserve visual elements such as faces, products, or locations across scenes, and the system maintains voice consistency when a voice reference is provided.

The features are available through the Grok website and iOS/Android apps, initially for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers in the United States, with plans to extend to other subscription tiers. The rollout includes a new intermediate plan, SuperGrok Plus, priced at $100 per month or $1,000 per year, offering higher limits for chat, video, and voice generation.
