Colombia Sport Minister visits High Performance Center to meet athletes

Colombian Minister of Sport Juliana Gutiérrez visited the High Performance Center to engage directly with national athletes. During her tour, she observed the comprehensive support provided by health professionals, including a physiotherapy session for Tokyo 2020 Olympic medalist Sandra Lorena Arenas.

Gutiérrez also met with Olympic cycle taekwondo athlete Jefferson Ochoa and celebrated the achievements of race walker Éider Arévalo. The Minister emphasized the government's commitment to providing unconditional support to athletes to improve competitive results. Additionally, she observed the training of the Colombian wheelchair basketball team as they prepare for the World Championship in Ottawa, Canada.
