Spain and France see hotel revenue gains in early 2026

Hotel revenues in Spain rose 4% in the first four months of 2026, driven by a 3.8% increase in average daily rates and stable occupancy. Urban destinations recorded near‑6% revenue growth, while vacation spots were flat. Of 102 Spanish destinations, 63 posted higher revenues and 39 saw declines.

In France, the hotel market also improved in April 2026. Paris maintained an 83% occupancy rate with a 2% price rise, giving a RevPAR of €190. The Côte d’Azur posted a 72% occupancy rate, a 9% price increase and a 16% YoY RevPAR gain, while Nice saw occupancy above 80% and revenue jumps of 15‑20%. Regional French hotels showed more modest growth, with a 60% occupancy rate and a 2% RevPAR rise. Both countries highlight uneven performance across territories but overall a strengthening hotel sector.
