Spain and LaLiga supply record number of players for 2026 World Cup

Eighteen of the twenty clubs in Spain's top two football divisions will be represented at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, underscoring LaLiga's depth. Barcelona leads the way, sending fifteen players, the highest contribution of any club.

The Spanish national team qualified emphatically, topping UEFA Group E with 16 of a possible 18 points. In the tournament, La Roja joins Group H alongside Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay, with matches scheduled in the United States.
