Spain arrests police officers and shuts down drug flats in Jaén and Albacete

In Linares, Jaén, a large police operation against drug trafficking resulted in the detention of twenty people, including four National Police officers from the local drug‑units. The arrests were coordinated by the Police National Internal Affairs Unit, which also conducted simultaneous searches of police offices and suspected drug‑network locations.

In Almansa, Albacete, the "TRANSPOR" operation dismantled two illegal narcotics apartments where drugs were sold to minors during school hours. Police seized three kilograms of hashish, 22 MDMA capsules, about 6,000 doses, and €770 in cash. Three suspects, aged 52, 43 and 21, were arrested; two have extensive drug‑trafficking records. The raids prevented further distribution to the town’s youth and disrupted a local criminal network.
