Spain cricket team sets world record with 21 consecutive T20I wins

The Spain national cricket team has set a new world record for the longest winning streak in men’s T20I cricket. By defeating Finland by eight wickets in the Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C, the team extended its undefeated run to 21 consecutive victories.

The streak, which began in February 2023 against the Isle of Man, surpasses the previous record of 20 consecutive international wins held by Australia. Spain’s recent victories include matches against Jersey, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, and Finland.

Following their win against Finland, the team is scheduled to face Luxembourg and Bulgaria in upcoming qualification matches for the 2028 T20 World Cup.
