Various traditional festivals and cultural celebrations are taking place or being organized across Spain. In the Valencian community, the Federació Valenciana de Moros i Cristians (FeVaMiC) has announced the suspension of the Arcabucería and Alardo acts scheduled for October 2 through 4. The decision was made due to adverse weather forecasts and the inability to guarantee safety during the use of gunpowder.

In the San Blas neighborhood of Alicante, preparations are underway for the handover of festival leadership roles on October 17. This event will designate the leaders for the 2027 Moors and Christians festivities, including María Luisa Campos García, who will serve as the Christian Lady.

Other regional highlights include the Feria de San Lucas in Jaén and the LXIV Saffron Rose Festival in Consuegra, Toledo, which is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25, 2026. The Consuegra event, a designated festival of Regional Tourist Interest, celebrates the production of saffron.
