The Spanish women's national roller hockey team secured a spot in the semifinals of the World Championship in Asunción, Paraguay, after a dominant 7-1 victory over Argentina. The win allows Spain to finish at the top of Group A, following previous victories against France and Chile.

Argentina's lone goal was scored by Julieta Fernández, while Spain's offense was led by braces from Aina Florenza, Marta Piquero, and María Sanjurjo, plus a goal from Victoria Porta. The match was notable for the first official use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system in the discipline.
