Spain defeated Austria 3‑0 in the round of 16 at the World Cup, advancing to the quarter‑finals. The match was played before more than 70,000 spectators at Los Angeles’s SoFi Stadium. Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 36th minute, added a second in the 89th, and Pedro Porro added a second‑half goal in the 66th.
