The Valencia public health department has installed two robotic dispensing systems in its pharmacy section, aiming to increase precision, safety and traceability for 1,665 patients served across 23 centres. The €590,000 investment also replaces medication carts and standardises dose preparation, reducing the risk of dispensing errors.

In Granada, private hospital HLA Universitario Inmaculada has become the first Andalusian private centre accredited for Da Vinci robotic surgery in five specialties – gynaecology, urology, otorhinolaryngology, general and digestive surgery, and thoracic surgery. As manager David Cuevas said, “HLA Universitario Inmaculada cuenta con 11 profesionales de cinco especialidades acreditadas para operar con el Da Vinci, ofreciendo una cirugía robótica de la más alta calidad”. The technology promises minimally invasive procedures, fewer complications, shorter hospital stays and improved postoperative outcomes.
