European national teams announce UEFA Nations League squads

Several European national football teams have announced their squads for the upcoming UEFA Nations League cycle.

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente selected a 26-man roster, notably announcing the squad from Ceuta to show support for the enclave. The squad includes key players like Rodri and Lamine Yamal, while Espanyol striker Roberto Fernández earned his first call-up.

France, under new manager Zinedine Zidane, has named a 23-man squad. Zidane has opted for a younger direction, omitting veterans Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté, while calling up five new players including Guillaume Restes and Esteban Rupert.

The Netherlands, led by Xavi, announced 26 players, featuring the debut of Ruben van Bommel. Notable omissions include Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong.

Portugal has retained Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad, though manager Jorge Jesus emphasized that selection remains based on performance.

In Croatia, manager Slaven Bilić has seen changes due to injuries, including Josip Juranović, but has called up Lovro Majer following his strong form with AEK Athens.
