Spain Halloween: Consumer spending and seasonal festivities

Halloween has become an established celebration in Spain, with the Spanish Association of Consumers reporting that the average consumer is expected to spend approximately 93 euros on festivities, including costumes, makeup, decorations, and sweets.

Due to the growing market, the Spanish Association of Consumers is calling for increased inspections to ensure the safety of Halloween products. They recommend that consumers look for quality items with proper labeling and the CE marking, particularly for children's costumes, to avoid risks such as choking or accidents.

In Seville, the children's group Pica Pica will host a family-oriented event titled ‘Operación Halloween’ at the Auditorio Cartuja on October 25, 2026. The musical show is designed for all ages, focusing on humor and music rather than scares.
