Castilla-La Mancha health service announces 3,400 new jobs
The Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha (Sescam) has approved a significant public employment offer (OPE) to bolster its healthcare workforce. The regional government plans to combine the recruitment processes for 2025 and 2026, totaling approximately 3,400 positions.
The 2026 portion of the offer includes 1,818 vacancies, featuring 400 roles for medical staff, 496 for nursing and degree-level health professionals, 434 for technical health personnel, and 488 for technical and service staff. Notably, the 2026 offer introduces new professional categories, including dietitians/nutritionists, pharmacy technical staff, and health documentation specialists.
Competitive examinations for these combined cycles are tentatively scheduled to take place between July and September 2027.
In a separate initiative, the regional health service is hosting the fourth SIAP Regional Conference in Tomelloso. Under the theme ‘From Voice to Action’, the event brings together healthcare professionals, patients, and families to discuss improving patient care, humanization, and the integration of artificial intelligence in health services.
