Spain holiday transfers for All Saints' Day in 2026

Because All Saints' Day falls on a Sunday in 2026, the observance of the public holiday varies across Spain. While the date is a national holiday, individual autonomous communities have the authority to determine if the rest day is transferred to Monday, November 2.

According to the Official State Gazette (BOE) and regional labor calendars, nine communities will observe a long weekend by moving the holiday to Monday. These regions include Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Madrid, and Navarra.

However, other regions, such as the Basque Country, will not transfer the holiday, meaning workers in those areas will not receive an additional day off.
