Spain hosts cultural programs celebrating Hispanidad legacy

Various municipalities in Spain are hosting cultural programs focused on the legacy of Hispanidad.

In Huete, the second edition of the Jornada de la Hispanidad will feature five specialists discussing historical, legal, and conservation aspects. Topics include the Middle Ages in Spain, the Laws of the Indies, and architectural heritage. The event includes sessions by experts such as Cesáreo Jarabo and Julio Henche, with a remote contribution from Patricio Lons in Buenos Aires.

In Pozuelo de Alarcón, a special program organized in collaboration with the Asociación Cultural Héroes de Cavite and the Círculo Cultural Hispanista de Madrid includes documentary screenings and conferences. The schedule features the documentary ‘We the Hispanos’ and lectures regarding the role of Spanish women in the Indies during the 16th century and the concept of Hispanidad as a branch of Western civilization.
