Spain hosts major tourism and business travel summits in 2026

More than 3,100 tourism professionals have registered for the Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) 2026, scheduled for 6‑8 October in Sevilla. The three‑day event will feature over 400 international speakers and 200 leading firms, showcasing AI, sustainability, revenue management and data‑driven services to an audience of roughly 8,000 attendees.

The Innovation Summit Business Travel & MICE (ISBTM) 2026 took place in Madrid on 8‑9 July, bringing together about 500 delegates and 50 speakers from airlines, hotels, tech providers and corporate travel departments. Organisers highlighted the sector’s €6.6 billion contribution to Spain’s economy and presented ten trends shaping the future of corporate travel, including a traveler‑centric approach, AI‑enabled personalization, a shift from price to total value and an expanded strategic role for travel managers.
