Spain hosts summer cultural exhibitions in Salamanca and Roman fair in Poza de la Sal

The University of Salamanca is keeping four art and audiovisual exhibitions open throughout the summer, inviting both tourists and locals. The displays run until late September or early October and include the audio‑visual installation “Genias” co‑produced by the Festival de Almagro and the National Classical Theatre Company, the feminist‑focused pop‑rock archive “Girls to the front!”, the mixed‑media show “De tripas, corazón” by Álex Bow, and the contemplative installation “Todos los días me levanto”.

At the same time, the town of Poza de la Sal in Burgos launched its inaugural Roman Fair, “La sal que conquistó Roma”. The weekend event recreates Roman‑era life with theatrical parades, a gladiator school, reenactments of salt‑extraction techniques, and Roman‑style food and drink. Activities include a Ritual of Ceres, a shared fire ceremony, and a family‑oriented Roman scavenger‑hunt.
