Spain implements heavy vehicle traffic restrictions
The Spanish Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT) has announced circulation restrictions for heavy vehicles through the end of October. These measures aim to improve road safety, mobility, and traffic flow during periods of high movement.
Specific prohibitions apply on Sunday, October 25, from 3:00 PM to midnight for special transport vehicles and those carrying dangerous goods requiring ADR orange warning panels. These restrictions cover the entire national territory controlled by the DGT, with the exception of Catalonia, the Basque Country, and Navarra, which manage their own traffic regulations and apply independent restrictions.
Authorities expect these measures to intensify during the upcoming All Saints' Day holiday period in early November.
