Spain infrastructure: Road works in Menorca and CV-60 project

In Menorca, the Consell is investing over 2 million euros to improve the general road near Alaior, specifically reinforcing the pavement between the Torralba and Son Bou links. The project is expected to take three months to complete.

Regarding water management, the Aliança per l’Aigua reports that only 13.5 million euros of the planned 63.3 million euros for the Menorca Hydrological Plan have been awarded, representing approximately 21.3% of the total investment.

In the Valencian Community, construction on the CV-60 highway, which will connect L’Olleria and Terrateig in the Vall d’Albaida region, is scheduled to begin in 2027. The new highway aims to improve connections between the coast and the interior to support employment and business opportunities.
