Spain invests over €52,000 in Castrillón river path and €1.2 million in Ciudad Real road

The municipality of Castrillón (Asturias) will allocate more than €52,000 to renew bridges and the central section of the Agüil river path between Piedras Blancas and Salinas. The work includes repairing a pedestrian walkway and an adjoining aqueduct, with additional projects to improve nearby coastal trails and a former bird‑watching observatory.

The regional government of Castilla‑La Mancha will begin a €1.2 million rehabilitation of the CM‑4135 road linking Porzuna and Piedrabuena in Ciudad Real. The project will replace the road surface, add a new bituminous layer, and repaint all markings, aiming to improve safety for the roughly 875 vehicles that use the route daily, including heavy trucks.
