Juan José Castelli celebrates 90 years as cultural events launch in Paraguay and Argentina

The town of Juan José Castelli in Argentina celebrated its 90th anniversary with a ceremony led by Carmen Delgado, acting head of the provincial Executive. The event highlighted the community's history, from its origins in the cotton industry and the arrival of the railway to its current cultural identity. The celebration included the official presentation of a new song dedicated to the town.

In Paraguay, the Spanish Embassy launched the fifth edition of 'Aires de España 2026'. This program features a month-long schedule of free cultural, gastronomic, and sporting activities in Asunción and Encarnación throughout October. Highlights include the 'Tape Tuja' cultural circuit to rediscover Jesuit-Guaraní paths and various art exhibitions, such as a photography showcase of Joan Miró's work.

Additionally, the 'Aprendo en mi Barrio' program in Tierra del Fuego is marking its fifth anniversary. The Ministry of Education will host educational and recreational activities in Tolhuin, Ushuaia, and Río Grande during October to support children's educational trajectories and strengthen community ties.
