Spain Launches Summer Music Camps for Children in El Escorial and Lena

The Escolanía de la Santa Cruz will hold its first summer camp from 6 to 12 July in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, targeting children aged 8‑12. The week‑long program blends choral rehearsals, nature walks, sports, creative workshops and evening activities, with a fee of €150 per child (€120 for siblings).

The Conservatory of Lena will run free musical workshops from 20 to 25 July for kids aged 4‑12. Two groups are offered: ages 8‑12 from 10:00‑12:00 and ages 4‑7 from 12:00‑14:00. Sessions include rhythm games, vocal work, basic percussion and piano, and aim to develop coordination, creativity and teamwork.

Both initiatives seek to introduce music to young participants in a fun, inclusive setting while fostering social skills and enjoyment of the outdoors.
