Spain national team celebrates World Cup trophy in Oviedo

Before the Spain national football team's Nations League match against the Czech Republic at the Carlos Tartiere stadium in Oviedo, former players Santi Cazorla and Juan Mata presented the FIFA World Cup trophy to captain Rodri Hernández.

The trophy, won this past summer in the United States, is currently on a tour across Spain. Following its presentation in Oviedo, the trophy is scheduled to be displayed at El Molinón.

Regarding the squad, midfielder Fabián Ruiz left the team's concentration in Oviedo to travel to Paris for the birth of his first child. He joins several other absences from the selection, including Eric García, Grimaldo, Nico Williams, and Ferrán Torres.
