Spain organizes regional blood donation drives in Dénia and Salamanca

Various regions in Spain are organizing blood donation drives to maintain vital medical reserves.

In Dénia, the City Council and the Transfusion Center of the Valencian Community have scheduled a blood donation marathon for September 23 at the Dénia Social Center. The event will run in two shifts: 09:45 to 13:30 and 16:45 to 20:30. Local entities and businesses are collaborating to host a raffle for donors as a gesture of gratitude.

In Salamanca, the Hemotherapy and Hemodonation Center of Castilla y León has released a schedule for collections taking place from September 14 to September 19. The initiative utilizes mobile units and fixed points, including locations such as El Corte Inglés, the Hospital Clínico, and the El Tormes Shopping Center, to ensure hospital needs are met.
