Spain prepares for major regional investment and trade forums

The Community of Madrid has announced the third edition of the Madrid Investment Forum, scheduled for September 28–30, 2026. The event aims to strengthen the region's position as a destination for national and international investment. Activities will be distributed across six municipalities, including Madrid capital, Tres Cantos, Valdemoro, Villaconejos, Villanueva de la Cañada, and Alcalá de Henares. The forum will focus on strategic sectors such as data centers, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and defense, while also addressing the economic recovery of the Sierra Oeste region.

In Zamora, the third edition of FROMAGO will host a reverse commercial mission led by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL). The initiative will bring together 44 importers from 25 countries—spanning Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania—to create business opportunities for dairy and cheese companies from Castilla y León. The event, held from September 17–20, 2026, is expected to feature over 270 Spanish companies and serve as a major meeting point for producers, distributors, and professionals within the food value chain.
