Spain renovates municipal swimming pools in Valladolid and Teis

The indoor pool at Canterac in Valladolid has completed a €57,987 upgrade that replaced exterior carpentry and added insulation, improving energy efficiency and user comfort. The work, carried out by Fluidos Industriales y Cerramientos under a contract awarded by the Valladolid City Council, was finished in three months and includes a four‑year guarantee.

In the town of Teis, a comprehensive refurbishment of the municipal pool is progressing toward a planned reopening at the start of next year. After a fire forced a four‑year closure, the project—budgeted at €6.9 million and led by construction firm Civis Global—has installed hot‑water systems, filtration, electrical upgrades, waterproofing, structural reinforcement and a new glass curtain‑wall façade. The renovation also adds two new sports rooms and low‑energy electrical infrastructure, meeting updated standards for energy efficiency and safety.
