Spain reports multiple fires in Onda, Cangas, and Benidorm
Multiple fires were reported across different regions in Spain. In Onda, firefighters responded to a fire at a chemical and enamel factory during the early hours of Wednesday. The blaze damaged a van and a car, but no injuries were reported and no major structural damage occurred to the facility.
In Cangas, a fast-moving fire in the Menduiña area, specifically Carballiños, threatened residential orchards and houses due to high winds. Local police, the Civil Guard, and emergency groups worked to contain the fire, which was partially halted by a stone wall surrounding a house.
In Benidorm, a fire broke out on the ninth floor of a 16-story building on Avenida del Mediterráneo. The incident left four people injured, including two from smoke inhalation, and required the evacuation of several residents. The apartment was completely destroyed by the flames.
