Spain secures five podiums at EuroSUP 2026 in Melilla

The Spanish national team achieved five podium finishes during the opening day of the EuroSUP 2026 competition held at Playa de la Hípica in Melilla.

Duna Gordillo secured first place in the Women’s Open Technical category. Other notable Spanish performances included Aarón Sánchez taking second place in the Men’s Open, while Alba Frey, Rubén Cantoral, and Nuria Chiquero each earned third-place finishes. The competition featured high-level international athletes, including participants with over 40 combined world titles, and was characterized by technical wave conditions.
