Spain sees two fatal road collisions on N‑331 and N‑611
A 50‑year‑old man was killed and a 39‑year‑old woman injured after two cars and a truck collided on the N‑331 near Montilla, Andalusia. The crash prompted a large emergency response, including firefighters, civil guard, a medical helicopter and road‑maintenance crews, and led to the closure of the road between Montilla and Aguilar de la Frontera.
In a separate incident on the N‑611 near Monzón de Campos, Castile‑León, a 62‑year‑old truck driver died when his articulated vehicle left the road and struck six construction trucks. Emergency services, including the civil guard, fire brigade and a mobile ICU, attended the scene but could not save the driver. Both accidents are under investigation by the Guardias Civiles.
