Spain sets national record in 4x100m freestyle relay

The Spanish relay team set a new national record in the 4x100 metre freestyle at the European Championships in Paris. The team, consisting of Luca Hoek, Miguel Pérez-Godoy, César Castro, and Sergio de Celis, finished in fourth place with a time of 3:11.91.

This performance improved upon the previous national record by more than one and a half seconds. The quartet narrowly missed the bronze medal by eight-tenths of a second, finishing just ahead of Great Britain by one hundredth of a second.
