Spain sports events registration deadlines approach in July

The Xtreme Natural obstacle race in San Martín del Tesorillo will close registrations on 29 July. The competition, scheduled for 2 August 2026, offers 8‑km and 5‑km courses with about 40 obstacles, new suspension structures and a two‑kilometre river segment. Points earned count toward the AOCO National Championship league, attracting top Spanish obstacle‑running specialists.

The Vertical Bike Challenge in Salamanca ends its sign‑up on 23 July for a night‑time race on 25 July. The 200‑metre uphill course in the historic centre follows a direct‑elimination format, with categories ranging from youth to veteran and prize money of up to €600 for the top three in each gender division. All participants receive a welcome pack valued at €30.

Both events emphasize inclusivity and aim to draw local athletes and spectators.
