Spain to host major artificial intelligence forums in Alicante and Jaén

Spain will host two significant artificial intelligence gatherings. The V European Forum on Artificial Intelligence will take place in Alicante on November 19 and 20. Organized by several entities including the EUIPO and the Real Academia de Ingeniería, the forum will operate under the theme ‘The new reality for humanity’ to discuss the impact of AI on science, economy, and society.

Additionally, the University of Jaén will host CAEPIA 2026, the 21st Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence, from November 11 to 14. This event is considered a primary research congress in Spain, featuring 275 researchers and 217 scientific papers. The program includes 20 scientific sessions, four specialized congresses, and a workshop focused on quantum AI, serving as a platform for ethical and strategic debate regarding the technology's trajectory.
