Spain to host major international pet industry events in 2027

Spain is set to host major international events for the pet care and canine sectors in 2027. The European Dog Show 2027 will take place from December 2 to 5, hosted jointly by Alicante and Murcia. The event will utilize the Institución Ferial Alicantina (IFA) in Elche and the Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones de la Región de Murcia (IFEPA) in Torre Pacheco. Organizers expect over 10,000 dog registrations, following the scale of the previous edition in Sweden.

Additionally, the professional pet care trade fair Iberpet, formerly known as Iberzoo Propet, will be held from March 10 to 12, 2027, at Ifema Madrid. Supported by various veterinary and industry associations, the fair aims to expand its international reach through a new International Guest Buyer Program. The event serves as a platform for manufacturers, distributors, and veterinary professionals to showcase industry innovations.
