Spain to host major technology summits in 2026

Major technology events are scheduled to take place in Spain, focusing on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.

Tech Show Madrid is set to return to Ifema Madrid on November 4 and 5, 2026. Organized by CloserStill Media, the event will host over 500 exhibiting companies and more than 450 speakers, with an expected attendance of 30,000 visitors. The event comprises seven simultaneous fairs covering sectors such as cloud computing, big data, ecommerce, and HR technologies. Participating companies include Intel, Oracle, Red Hat, and Shopify. The organizers estimate the event will generate an economic impact exceeding 100 million euros.

Additionally, the ninth edition of VDS, organized by Startup Valencia, will be held on October 21 and 22, 2026, at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. The international event expects to gather 12,000 professionals from over 120 countries and 3,000 startups. Featured speakers include representatives from Nvidia, Spotify, LG, Rolls-Royce, and AstraZeneca, covering topics ranging from neurotechnology and space to venture capital and the future of work.
