Spain triumphs at European Sea Rowing Championships in La Línea

The European Sea Rowing and Beach Sprint Championships in La Línea de la Concepción have concluded, marking a successful event for Spain. The competition featured approximately 1,200 athletes from 31 countries over five days of racing.

Spain secured a total of 22 medals, including nine golds, seven silvers, and six bronzes. Notable performances included the veteran women's four from Club Náutico Altea, who won the European club championship in the 3,000-meter event, narrowly defeating a Czech crew.

Local athletes from the Club Remo de Mar La Línea also achieved significant results. Alfredo Mena secured the European U-19 beach sprint title in mixed doubles alongside Blanca López. Additionally, Alejandra García and Paula Pecino earned European bronze and Spanish silver in the women's double, while Alfredo Mena and Abel Salas won the Spanish national title in the U-19 men's double.
