Spain Unveils New Tourist Offerings in Almería and Huelva
The Andalusian tourism authority announced that registration opens on 6 July for guided tours of Almería’s historic San Cristóbal Walls. The free, limited‑capacity tours will run in July, August and September, with night visits on Tuesdays at 20:00 and morning visits on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 09:00. Reservations must be made online each Monday.
In Huelva, the historic Hotel París building in Plaza de las Monjas will be converted by the Sercotel hotel chain into a four‑star hotel with 107 rooms. Works are under way and the hotel is expected to open in 2027, expanding the city’s capacity for business‑travelers linked to new hydrogen‑energy and industrial projects.
Both initiatives aim to boost regional tourism and accommodate growing demand for cultural and business accommodation in southern Spain.
