Spain and Ecuador experience significant seasonal weather shifts

Various regions are experiencing significant seasonal shifts and extreme weather patterns. In Spain, the transition to autumn is marked by a drop in temperatures and incoming rainfall across several provinces, including Andalusia, Córdoba, Madrid, and Ciudad Real. While some areas prepare for rain and cooler nights, others are dealing with the aftermath of extreme summer heat, such as Pamplona, which saw temperatures exceeding 35°C for one-third of the summer. Additionally, Castilla y León has reported a record-breaking summer in terms of water safety, recording 28 fatal drownings.

In Ecuador, the coastal region of Salinas is experiencing an unusual warm season. Temperatures between 26°C and 29°C have drawn significantly more tourists to beaches like San Lorenzo and Chipipe, with visitor numbers doubling compared to the previous year, a phenomenon attributed to El Niño.
