Spain wins Euro Beach Soccer League title

Spain has been crowned the European beach soccer champion after defeating Italy 5-2 in the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal held in Viareggio, Italy. The victory marks Spain's first continental title in 20 years. The Spanish national team completed the tournament undefeated, having previously secured wins against Switzerland, Belarus, Portugal, and Denmark.

Italy secured two silver medals in the tournament, as both the men's and women's national teams reached their respective finals but fell to Spain. The Italian men's team faced challenges due to injuries to key players, including Marco Giordani and the Remedi brothers.

Significant contributions were made by players from the Spanish club CD Fútbol Playa Huelva, including Brian Hernández, Javi Camacho, and Fran Cassano. Hernández was particularly noted for scoring a spectacular bicycle kick during the final.
