Spain has won the FIBA U16 Women’s EuroBasket 2026, defeating Slovenia 87-40 in the final to defend their continental title. Amelia Alonso was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The competition was hosted in Romania, with matches held at the Pitești Arena and the Mioveni Sports Hall between August 14 and August 22. Other notable results included Hungary securing sixth place after defeating Turkey, and France taking third place after a victory over Latvia.

The Romanian national team finished in 15th place following a 75-71 loss to Bulgaria in the classification match for 15th-16th positions.
