Spain wins seven medals at Paracycling World Championships
The 2026 Paracycling Road World Championships in Huntsville, Alabama, concluded with significant performances from various international delegations. The Spanish national team secured seven medals, including two golds, four silvers, and one bronze.
Spanish standout Manuela Vos earned two podium finishes in the H1 Handbike category, winning gold in the road race and silver in the time trial. In the tandem category, the duo of Imanol Arriortua and Mikel Aristi claimed gold, while teammates Joan Sansó and Eloy Teruel took silver. Other Spanish medalists included Ricardo Ten, who won silver in the C1 time trial, and the pair of Juan Alberto Jiménez and Eduardo Santas, who secured silver and bronze respectively in the C3 class.
The competition featured seven athletes achieving the double of winning both the time trial and the road race in their respective categories. France emerged as the most successful nation in the overall medal standings.
