Spain women's football team to face USA in October friendlies

The Spanish women's national football team will face the United States in two friendly matches this October. The first match is scheduled for October 10 at Audi Field in Washington, where the U.S. will honor retired defender Crystal Dunn. The second match will take place on October 13 at Subaru Park in Chester, near Philadelphia.

Due to physical issues, FC Barcelona attacker Vicky López has been ruled out of the squad for both matches. Head coach Sonia Bermúdez has called up Alba Redondo, a forward from Juventus, to replace her. Redondo will join the rest of the 24-player squad on October 5 in Las Rozas to begin preparations for the tour.
